History of Grove Health Centre
The practice originated in 1860 at Morton Lodge, Brook Street (later named Spring Lodge) which is now the site occupied by Marks and Spencer. The practice moved to 8 Claypotts Road in 1968 and then to 15 Camperdown Street in 1986. Most recently, then moved to the former Grove Academy Annexe in Dundee Road in October 2000.
The practice has grown over the years to accommodate the expanding population of Broughty Ferry and to meet the changing demands of the modern NHS.
Premises
Our current premises offer modern and spacious facilities for both patients and staff. Access to the practice is all on one level with patient parking situated at the front of the bulding.
Disabled Access
The consultation areas and facilities within Grove Health Centre are accessible to the disabled. However, if you require assistance please ask any of the staff. Patients requiring help accessing or exiting the building should inform Reception staff when making their appointment.
Wheelchair access
The Practice has been specially designed to make it easier for disabled patients to visit.
Disabled parking
Grove Health Centre has two dedicated disabled parking bays for Blue Badge holders
The Blue Badge scheme helps people with severe mobility issues, or those who are registered blind, park closer to their destination for improved accessibility.

Loop system
We have a loop induction system at Reception to assist the hearing impaired.
Guide Dogs
Guide dogs are always welcome at the Practice but we ask that you be aware of other patients and staff who may have an allergy or fear of dogs.
